Aside from creating tutorials for students to utilize, and fun activities happening in your library, you can very well create book trailers to share new additions to your library. You might even assign a book trailer as a project in your library. See a sample of a book trailer that I created for The Hate U Give by Angie Thomas. It was easy to create, and so much more fun to share than a simple mention of a new book!

ReplyDeleteI loved your book trailer. It helped me understand the book better and not judge it by only the cover. I have wanted to read it and now I will ;) . Once the kids learn how to make QR codes, they can create their own book trailers and booktalks, etc. Good job!
ReplyDeleteI read the book when it first came out the movie was just as good. Your trailer did a great job at giving the synopsis of them both. Thanks for the tips for QR code use on campus.
ReplyDeleteI think students would really love using QR codes with a scavenger hunt in your library to practice the Dewey System. Great idea for a library lesson!
